About me

Technically trained director with a master’s degree in directing fiction from Goldsmiths, University of London and an undergraduate degree from The University of Westminster, with ten years of filmmaking experience. My directing experience spans award-winning short films, documentaries, web-series and music videos, as well as producing and video editing for such companies at The Voice Newspaper and ad-hoc lecturing. Additional achievements continue outside of filmmaking and that include winning a pitching competition by Sheffield Doc Fest (2015), being awarded a rising star certificate from Channel 4 at C4 POPUP Bristol (2017), showcased as a rising star for The TV Collective UK BAME Talent Search (2017), being a festival judge for London Short Series (2018 - Present) and having a book published by Zimbell House Publishing USA (2018).

  The Awakening - Unreal ChallengeThis short 30s animation was created for the Unreal lighting challenge. I used this opportunity to create an animation to showcase my development within Unreal Engine and the creative projects I'm now making. I taught myself Unreal Engine in August 2021.

  S.O.U.L of a Black WomanS.O.U.L of a Black Woman is an Afrofuturism film split into four chapters each representing what it is to be a black woman. Each chapter is accompanied by its own original unique music and spoken word poetry which will take you through the passages of time.
