Rebecca Hobson is a freelance journalist, copywriter and maker based in Bristol. She has travelled extensively over the last 15 years, most recently living in India for 20 months.
She writes and photographs for Vice, BBC, The Times and others, and produces content for the likes of School for Social Entrepreneurs, Airbnb, HSBC and NatWest.
Rebecca is especially passionate food and drink, social enterprise and helping young people into employment - as evidenced by her work with organisations like Vice Munchies and the School for Social Entrepreneurs.
When not writing she puts on events, runs a micro clothing label and studies wine. In October 2019 she completed the WSET Level 3 Award, passing with Merit.
Rebecca has previously compered and co-produced Magnetic Words, a storytelling stage for the Magnetic Fields Festival in Rajasthan, and has hosted several events, including the London Loves Excellence Awards judged by Hilary Devey, Baroness Michelle Mone and James Timpson.
