As a recent graduate from Leeds Beckett University, with a upper second class honours degree in Event Management, I have undertaken several job roles at diverse levels of the events industry alongside additional employment in retail, sales and hospitality. These positions have enabled me to develop not only specific events industry experience, but also a valuable and transferable skill set in this fast paced sector. I consider myself to be a motivated, hardworking and driven individual who also works well as an enthusiastic team member, looking to explore a challenging career path within the events industry.

- Assisted with the design, development and management of the Council’s event programme (which included a range of small and large scale events) Liaising with contacts across relevant areas, including contractors, community organisations and internal departments. This included working alongside a small team of 4 as well as co-ordinating and liaising with a project team across several departments within the Council. - Prepared content; text and images for marketing department, as well as editing and proofreading rough copies sent through by the marketing department - Researched and liaised with artists, agencies and outside organisations to book acts and artists to programme the content of events. - Supported the planning, programming, set up and de-rig of the events calendar and assisted in the production of health and safety event documentation, such as, risk assessments, method statements and events manuals. - Managed expenses and per diems, as well as processed purchase orders, invoices and procurement documents - Managed external bookings of the City Park event space; assisting in the delivery of events to required health and safety, licensing and accessibility standards - Assisted with the preparation of specifications and tender documentation for the hire of structures, equipment, plant services and placed orders for goods and services. - Supervised volunteers from varying backgrounds.
