This position has been seasonal from 2011 - 2016, and then part-time from 2016 onwards (to coincide with studying for an MSc at Sussex) Seasonal Contract Tasks briefly included the physical inspection, testing and recording of all Ethernet ports and internet connection in all 10 of the university's Halls of Residences'. Working quickly in a small team to reach deadlines was essential. Part-Time Contract Tasks briefly include working on a busy Service Desk dealing with a variety of enquiries from staff, students and visitors via the telephone, self-service, email or in-person. Recording, diagnosing and troubleshooting problems and finding resolutions to changing technical issues. In particular dealing with hardware, software and connectivity issues on a range of Windows, Apple and Android devices, tablets and computers. I have also assisted with Arrivals Weekend 2015 and 2016, and Fresher’s Week 2016, ensuring all students have user accounts and access to the university's wireless and/or cabled internet.
Continuing from the placement in 2015, additional responsibilities briefly include: • Studio Coordinator – Keeping the studio tidy and organised at all times. • Operations Manager – In charge of dispatching all orders and bloggers gifts. • Exceptional Customer Service – Overseeing all customer queries and CRM, ensuring exceptional service at all times. • Digital Marketing – Distributing AdRoll, Facebook and Instagram adverts. • Social Media Assistant – Growing followers and the engagement rate on all online platforms, whilst posting daily content. • Project Planner – Organising and overseeing the marketing calendar in the run up to the brands new collection and website launch. • Sourcer – Sourcing all items needed for photoshoots and online imagery. • Team Planner – Organising all team activities such as calendar events and celebrations. • Copywriting and E-Commerce Assistant – Ensuring all website (WordPress) content is accurate and up-to-date.
Personal achievements include creating my own spreadsheet tracking customer purchases to build the brands buyer persona, spearheading numerous marketing meetings with the creative directors, directing a photoshoot from concept to completion, and increasing the brands Instagram following by nearly 250%. Responsibilities included: • Utilising Google Analytics daily to record visitor statistics and campaign engagement; including social acquisition, number of visits, customer behaviour, interaction and engagement. • Benchmarked traffic sources to focus on, including referral and social. • Overseeing photoshoots for online content, as well as stockists and future campaigns. • Often testing new campaigns using AdRoll, Instagram and Facebook Adverts, whilst recording the statistics in a spreadsheet. • Implementing PPC, SEO, retargeting and general brand awareness campaigns. • Posting daily on social media channels, as well as actively communicating with the brands online community. • Scheduled content to be posted using Latergramme, TweetDeck and Facebook. • Overseeing brand influencers activities and ongoing relationship, often with bloggers and Instagrammers, whilst ensuring content was released when planned. • Often working towards tight deadlines, utilising the in-house marketing calendar. • Utilised MailChimp to send promotional newsletters to the brands customer database. • Created a directory of press contacts in a spreadsheet, enabling the brand to coordinate press releases and build a rapport with journalists.
