About me
My background is in Broadcast Journalism, which I studied at university. I’ve worked as a reporter, presenter, assistant producer as well as a variety of production based experience. Additionally to my media experience, over the last few years I have been working independently as a brand consultant/model PR manager/ talent acquisition specialist - due to many years of experience as a model and a vast number of connections. This largely involves facilitating connections, talent acquisition, communication and development. Since the start of the pandemic there have been many trials and tribulations in my largely social work. The studio where I currently work as a presenter/events reporter has been closed for almost a year, and likewise my largely events based model PR work has changed form quite drastically. In November I decided to opt for a role that would allow me to keep working part time at home while still adapting my freelance work. I am now working for the 89 initiative based out of LSE as a researcher. This is stimulating and integral work that I am glad to be a part of. Our current project is to research the positive impact of COVID on SMEs. We investigate and inform government policy relating to how businesses can successfully adapt and thrive in a post pandemic world.

The Innovation Programme considers how the Government can enable SMEs to successfully adapt and thrive in the post-pandemic world.

    PRESENTER/REPORTERWINKBALL
    London, United KingdomFreelance
I create reports or present studio pre-records centred around human interest, events, community and light news for digital media on a freelance basis. This includes anything from red carpet, to creative arts, sport, music, fashion, arts, food and more. Reports are broadcast on Winkball's channel which is largely focussed towards social media, as well as sponsored reports delivered for clients. Some of Winkball’s clients include Lad Bible, Yahoo!, the Mail Online and CNN. Additionally to presenting, other responsibilities can include gaining press accreditation, planning, scripting, creating interview questions, and managing the social media while at an event and feeding back to the production team.
