About me
I'm a textiles designer graduating from the Arts University Bournemouth with a BA (Hons) degree in textiles.
I specialise in digital print and stitch techniques such as digital and hand embroidery and in my most recent project started to incorporate Irish embroidery. Using these skill I have created collections of fabrics for the luxury fashion market.
Projects
- Seaside RegencyI was first inspired by the film The Grand Budapest Hotel directed by Wes Anderson. Anderson has a very unique style that runs across all his films which includes symmetry and defined colour palettes. I wanted to translate this into my own style by using my own imagery and drawings of the Royal Pavilion in Brighton. I have been able to create a collection of fashion fabric samples that include CAD & hand embroidery, sublimation print and laser cut fabrics.
