As a 24-year-old graduate of BA Fashion Journalism at London college of Fashion, I hold a strong interest in the Arts world, as well as the broadcasting and print journalism fields. Moving away from my family in New Zealand to pursue my dream degree in London taught me vast life skills of time management, self-motivation and reliability. After gaining excellence in English, graphic design and media studies throughout my final school years, I decided that a degree obtaining all these aspects was perfect for me. My degree, situated in the school of media and communication, aims to produce accurate and ethical journalists who can operate effectively any part if the media, covering any topic and delivering content via print, broadcast and online. Techniques covered throughout the degree were tee line short hand, media law, and cultural and historical studies. On graduating the degree I feel very able to identify trends, analyze markets, and target readers and viewers appropriately. It is now second nature to discuss fashion in its widest sense, from its cultural importance and ethical issues that concern the industry, as well as through the narrower lens of the catwalk and street style. I am seeking employment within the media world. I am open to Journalism, Marketing, graphic design, social media, Fashion and PR.Locked Pro Plan feature
