About me
Rebecca graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 2020 with a diploma in 3D Design, Object and Jewellery. She believes that being a designer allows her to see the world differently. She finds problems to solve and how to make it better. She has a keen interest in crafting interactive products and is not afraid to try experimenting on unconventional materials and techniques. She also enjoys film photography and has done her own illustrations in her spare time. Rebecca was an active student in NAFA, participating in activities such as being a student helper and selling handcrafted Jewellery at Makers’ Market for open house. She also has conducted workshops for Singapore Design Week. Her works were selected to be featured at Singapore’s Gift and Premium fair and at NAFA’s ‘After 2’ exhibition.

    RiyoKit; a fun camera backing kit“RiyoKit” is a fun camera backing kit for people who are just starting out in film photography that allows them to turn a disposable camera into a reusable one. “Riyo” is an abbreviation of the word “Sai Riyo” means reuse in Japanese and kit is in English. The purpose of RiyoKit is to create less wastage of a disposable camera by giving it a second life.

    Viral; a Jewellery collection based on the flu virusViral is a Jewellery collection based on the general flu virus. The harness is a representation of the virus as when it first enters the body, it would attack the lungs. Viral consist of 4 individual clips, a harness and an arm cuff. The clips are removable and can be placed anywhere on the harness. The harness is also adjustable; based on the user's body type.
