I am a background and layout artist with the skill and speed of an editorial illustrator. A graduate of New York City’s Fashion Institute of Technology in illustration, currently I am working as a storyboard and storybook artist at Nickelodeon for Nick Jr.’s ‘Blaze and the Monster Machines’.
Living in the tight quarters of a big city, has made me particularly love designing tight, cluttered spaces, with a bent towards the macabre and fantastic. Whether its a sprawling landscapes, alien food carts, or the props for a magical library, I’d like to bring my skills as a designer to your next animated project.
I’ve worked as a designer and storyboard artist for several studios including Nickelodeon, Titmouse, and Silvergate, and boast over 15 years experience working as an illustrator; I aim to bring a keen sense of composition, and color to all my work. Being skilled in multiple mediums lends to being adept at switching my style to match the production, whether it’s super stylized, or painterly. I prefer to work quick, and tight so concepts are clear from the first stages of a project; your deadline is no problem.
