  Skem ProjectSkelmersdale is a town in West Lancashire, it is home to 38,813 people and is known by the name of Skem by the locals. Skelmersdale was a part of the new town building project in 1961 and it was promised many things such as jobs, a clean environment, facilities, a train station and many other things.
