- The Manufacturer MX AwardsThe UK’s two leading manufacturing awards – The Manufacturer of the Year Awards, run by The Manufacturer, and the Manufacturing Excellence (MX) Awards, run by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, have joined forces to form The Manufacturer MX Awards (TMMX). The Institution of Mechanical Engineers and The Manufacturer have combined their strengths to form a new, unique benchmarking competition that recognises manufacturing excellence and also provides companies taking part with free, targeted business advice. As the designer of all our event branding it was my task to combine the two logos into a strong singular identity for the awards programme, whilst respecting and adhereing to each company's brand guideline restrictions. The identity had to have a fresh new look and work over multiple different sizes and platforms. I also had to design all marketing collateral for the event; such as adverts, web banners, banners and signage, re design the website, the event brochure, certificates, a photowall and design the trophies!
- The Manufacturer Opus 2017The Opus is a coffee table publication that sits in the reception of some of the UK’s leading companies. It showcases the best of the best in manufacturing, promoting those organisations who are role models within the industry. Organisations who are pioneers and direction finders, who seek out new technologies and components. Those who develop innovative new business models, adapting, pivoting and driving forward as the market and competition changes. Widely distributed at all our events and sent to every UK MP this publication aims to help challenge the image of manufacturing and move it away from those dark satanic mills to one of 21st century manufacturing. It was my task to design from scratch the branding and design of this publication. This is the first publication ever to showcase the best of UK manufacturing, it needed to be clean, modern and visually inspiring.
