About me
I'm Renee Wisse. I’m a freelance motion designer and editor. I have a big passion for 2D animation and editing but I also love to film interesting projects. I recently came back from a backpack trip through north-east Asia and I'm ready to help you with your upcoming projects! I worked for companies like Lego, Grolsch, Albert Heijn, Neste, the Flowerfarm etc. For these projects I filmed commercials or castings, made 2D animations or edited commercials/projects.

  • The strongest of the strange
    The strongest of the strangeThis was a school project. The assignment was to pick a poem and create a video to complement the poem. I chose 'The strongest of the strange' by Charles Bukowski. My idea was to film strangers on the streets of Amsterdam with the poem written alongside the video.  I chose the music, fonts and over-all look I wanted in the pre-production, went to the center of Amsterdam and looked for people that wanted to participate in the video.  The final result is exactly the vision I had in mind.

    APPIE TODAY | Waarom heet een hotdog, hotdog?This was a project for the youtube channel of Albert Heijn. The videos are about the history of different kinds of food. I got the briefing to make it into an entertaining one-minute video. They provided a voice-over text. I had enough freedom to play around with these videos. A lot of research, A LOT of looking at shutter stock photos, do some magic in Photoshop, animate in After Effects and this is the final result! In total I made five video's for this series.

    I was a production intern at Czar Amsterdam. They are one of the biggest production companies here in the Netherlands. I got a chance to be one of the two interns and work behind the scenes of small and large video productions.
