I am responsible for events at the Apple Store Covent Garden. I have built a large network of contacts outside the business and play a key role in the evolution of Apple’s events programming in London, growing audience figures, diversity, demographic and social media out-reach. I am responsible for producing all in store events as well as overseeing workshops and youth programmes. In this leadership role I establish and develop effective relationships with guest speakers and artists. I work closely with different areas of the business and have shared my learning with teams world wide having sourced and initiated events that have been produced globally. I have created significant links with external partners, from the music, photography, social media, film, app developer, startup and creative arts community. I work with significant high profile talent liaising with film studios, record companies, publishing companies and media presenters, working closely between all internal and external stakeholders. I create engaging copy and work with our design team to produce promotional event assets as well as production companies to bring all live in store events to life and delivered to Apple’s exacting standards.
Sourcing and delivering the highest number of events in the company globally. Exponentially increasing audience engagement, diversity, demographic and social-media outreach. Delivering events to full capacity. Establishing and developing highly effective relationships with guest speakers, artists and influencers from a variety of creative industries. Building a wide network of contacts in the tech and creative arts communities: music, film, photography, start-up and graphic design. Simultaneously working on multiple projects and between multiple stake holders; delivering events and coordinating workshops and youth programmes. Crafting compelling copy and visual asset production. Publishing web content and managing bookings using internal Content Management Systems. Working with brands and talent across multiple industries on event proposals; developing strategies to bring products to life and driving engagement through event programming. Working with high profile brands and talent. Liaising with and briefing external talent, artist management, company leadership, journalists, press photographers and external production teams, to ensure smooth execution of events. Post event analysis and reporting, including weekly newsletters. Managing teams to support events, health and safety concerns related to events and reviewing security. Creating floor plans and producing running orders.
A highly motivated and essential role within the management structure; leading on-going training and support for staff and customers. Team Management - Exceeded quarterly training targets resulting in multiple new hires from 3 to 13 Creative Trainers. Analysis of CRM data and ensuring consistent service by exceeding quarterly customer Net Promoter targets. Customer and Staff Training - Developing training material and delivering technical and service training to teams in EMEA. Training Creative Team to become the most qualified in the company, able to deliver the widest range of training in Apple’s Pro and Consumer software as well as providing frontline tech support. Supporting Apple’s Retail and Business teams by offering bespoke training solutions to clients, leading to increased sales and customer loyalty. Briefing press on new products, leading and directing team to support in store product launches. Day to day management of team including scheduling, personal development, hiring, on-going feedback and career progression.
