About me
Acting Operations Co-ordinator at Federation of Scottish Theatre (FST).
Previously, Events & Membership Assistant, FST.
I've worked for various charities in recent years on projects surrounding the promotion of creativity as a lead arts facilitator within SIMD1 areas as well as engaged in more organisation-based roles such as business admin.
I love to work for causes I sincerely care about and can emotionally engage with as I feel that passion for a cause is one of the most powerful elements which can help to launch a project/help gain its momentum and recognition.
Additionally, I’m a freelance musician; specialising in singing, songwriting and guitar accompaniment. I have a background as a gigging musician as well as teaching and leading arts projects.
I love to combine creativity with structure and organisation in whatever I'm doing; from arranging, curating and performing gigs, networking, management and so on!

BA, First Class Honors degree in Applied Music.
A blended learning degree with largely online-based study, collaborating and communication. Exploring music history, pedagogy, and music composition.
My principal study was songwriting. For my fourth year honours project, I chose to collaborate with BBC Folk Award and Trad Awards nominated multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Joseph Peach; influenced by the poetry of twentieth-century North-East poet Violet Jacob. The aim of the project was to utilise the core poetic framework to explore and develop an interpretive soundscape using the expressive and rhythmic Scots vernacular; paying homage to the poet’s affinity to landscape, nature and the community around Jacob.
