Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media ProductionHertford Regional College
The Springs, Turnford, Broxbourne EN10 6EW, UK
On my college course I got the chance to work on the production of a training video for the courier Parcel Force and gained experience with video and photo editing software such as; Adobe premiere pro – (this application was used for the majority of the editing processes, I gained a rather large amount of knowledge on the different transitions used in media today.) Adobe After effects – (in this program I created some of the more advanced transitions, using more demanding effects to create animations. These animations where then used as the transitions, adding key frames to make the video smoother, overall making a more cinematic and professional video.) Adobe Photoshop – (in Photoshop I edited photo’s, created mood boards and posters. I have knowledge of what the tools do and understand the processes that are done in order to get certain effects.) Adobe Lightroom – (in lightroom I edited photos, I have a vast amount of knowledge of this app, knowing the whole way around the many menus in lightroom and what each slider or effect does. This taps into my knowledge of colour grading which I learnt on Premiere Pro as well.) I am always experimenting in these apps, as I want to hone my craft in order to produce high quality content. I Have filmed, edited and produced more than three different forms of media during my diploma, often taking the leadership role as director or co director, incorporating my vision as well as the team’s into the production of the video in order to produce a high quality video efficiently. I believe I have expansive knowledge of the Adobe applications, as I edited using both Premiere Pro and After effects, where I have knowledge of the effects and transitions that are commonly used in media today.
