About me

I am the founder of Dominica Dementia Foundation, we are the only Dementia Foundation in Dominica and the only foundation in the Caribbean. I was awarded by the Queens Young Leaders award by Her Majesty the Queen in 2017 at Buckingham Palace. I also spoke on BBC1 with Prince Harry about the work I do in Dominica in Buckingham Palace. I am a past TEDX speaker, I spoke at the University of Kent. I was also awarded the Youth in Volunteerism and Professional Development award by the National Youth Council of Dominica in 2017. I have been featured on Comic Relief Media Platforms as part of the Queens Young Leaders Programme. I also blog about my thoughts on Medium sometimes. I have a youtube channel called Rianna Extras where I vlog & do chatty videos about my life :3

Responsibilities include shooting and Editing footage to present on KMTV. We were responsible for creating a 30-minute programme to broadcast both online and on TV. This improved my communication and interview skills as we went into the community to interview the public on various topics such as garbage disposal and mental health.
