Richard Ardagh Studio is a graphic design practice based in London, UK.
Specialising in print-based design, we work closely with our clients and collaborators to craft high-quality and imaginative graphic communication for publications, identities and exhibitions. Our practice is complimented by an understanding of, and love for, traditional letterpress printing.
Past and current clients include National Portrait Gallery, Penguin, London Design Festival, Paul Smith and Smythson.

- A23D: a 3D-printed letterpress fontA23D is a 3D-printed letterpress font commissioned by Richard Ardagh of New North Press. The font is a prototype, connecting the newest and the oldest forms of print technology, and looking to the future of letterpress in the 21st century. The font was designed by renowned type designers Scott Williams and Henrik Kubel, of A2-Type, and fabricated by model making specialists Chalk Studios. The project was supported using public funding by Arts Council England.
- William Turnbull: New Worlds, Words, SignsThe monograph of a lesser-known artist of far-reaching influence: William Turnbull. This case-bound book includes an analysis of Turnbull's notebooks and a text on the artist by Anthony Gormley. Published to accompany an exhibition at Offer Waterman Gallery, London.
- FormeForme is a self-published letterpress publication, typographically investigating science’s explanations of the world around us. ‘Untruth’ is the subject of the first issue which looks at how we navigate a world riddled with misinformation and fake news. http://new-north-press.co.uk/product/forme-01/
