About me
'm a London based DOP with experience in commercials, music videos, drama and documentaries.
Not to be tied down to any particular place, Richard has lived on 3 continents and has now settled in the UK, calling London home. Having moved to Australia from South Africa to pursue his career in Cinematography, he received his Bachelors degree from Griffith Film School. Since graduating Richard has shot a number of short films, music videos, commercials, promo's and has just completed his first feature.
Richard recently won a Silver and a Bronze award from the Australian Cinematographers Society and a Gold Promax UK for his work in promos.
Inspired by the amazing people he gets to work with every day, Richard continues to strive for new ways to create mood and tone through lighting, colour, composition and camera movement.
