As the Nottingham Post's Event Co-ordinator I’m responsible for creating, managing and executing our program of live events and awards. My responsibilities include...
• Sourcing event sponsorship, whilst managing high profile clients.
• Managing each events P&L and budget.
• Booking and sourcing venues, and managing external suppliers.
• Production & AV management of the entire event.
• Booking celebrity hosts/presenters alongside script writing and creating show docs/running orders.
• Organising and monitoring an editorial and PR campaign in press and online.
• Creating and designing nomination processes, whilst assembling judging panels.
• Managing the entire process of each events brand identity, creating logos, producing brochure artwork, marketing material, visuals, award design and VT’s.
• Managing guest lists and accreditation processes.
• Ensuring all operational and administration needs are met in accordance with agreed deadlines, health and safety regulations and legal requirements.

With a seasonal contract I was assigned to organise internal events and manage all of Mallorca Rocks external events and excursions, suppliers, clients and the team of DJ’s and artists. Within these areas I was responsible for programming, budgeting, and reporting on all hotel events and external excursions. Ensuring security procedures are set and managed on all of these events. Managing the Mallorca Rocks/Ibiza Rocks DJs, assigning slot times, supervising the music policy and looking after their welfare. I was responsible for delivering and coordinating the whole of the hotel entertainment program, creating & managing the music schedule, as well as booking Resident DJs for the KISS FM events. In addition to this I delivered the brand experience in resort by creating and monitoring brand touch points such as signage, print work, artwork, video visuals, service and promotion design. I worked closely with the hotel and the Host Team to create promotional material, welcome packs, weekly club planners, menus and other brand related material. As well I assisted in driving F&B sales through events & hotel bar promotions.
