About me

 

I've been a Lighting Camera Op and Editor for around 6 years, during which I have created content for SBTV, LOVEFiLM, MTV, Rankin Films, Microsoft, Pioneer DJ and Warner. I've also edited TV spots for Warner and worked in the camera department on commercials for Rankin Films. This work has been varied. With Pioneer and Rankin, the bulk of the work has been studio based working with some incredibly talented cast and crew, from world famous models to A list celebs and some of the best crew in the world. I've learned a lot about direction, lighting, and concept creation from these experiences. On a smaller scale I have shot and edited video content for Creme de la mer, Estée Lauder and Microsoft. All of which have had great feedback from the clients, and have gone on to win the production company Article 10 more work. As an independent Music Video Director I've consistently made visually interesting projects, even though I've been constrained by low budgets I have created High Production values. Earning myself a strong relationship with up and coming British musicians, such as Mic Righteous. Whilst at LOVEFiLM I shot and cut video content from the Red Carpet at Film Festivals, Premieres and Award Shows, smart shooting with next day delivery of an edit was the norm. I have a desk space in Shoreditch where I can happily edit on Adobe Premiere, although I am also happy to work in house. I own camera equipment too, a Sony FS700, Canon Lenses, lighting and sound.

  • This Masters degree is aimed at those wishing to take up positions in the film production industry. Working from the start in 35mm, S16, 2K and 4K digital using equipment current in the industry. The programme aims to prepare its graduates for direct entry into the film and television industry. We work with key employers such as LipSyncPost throughout the programme with coursework assignments, master classes and use of facilities. The studio facilities of the University will be augmented by those of One8six and ARRI these being our strategic partners in this programme and our participants during its validation. It is important to note that we have the key 35 and S16mm and digital production camera systems in house permanently available for these students to use along with the associated grip, lighting and post production software systems. Our 2 and 4k scanning and film recording is done with strategic partnership with LipSyncPost with whom the course was designed, the strategic intent being the training of highly capable special effects artists. Students generate their show reels throughout the twelve months of the degree. From October to May taught courses are undertaken then from May to September the final project is completed. The lecturing staff has a substantial background in feature film and television production and will be augmented with distinguished guest speakers during the program.
