I am passionate about design and believe that I have a talent, which enables me to execute a client’s needs with understanding and originality. I am looking for a challenging and exciting position one in which I can push my creativity and be part of a dynamic and forward thinking team. I have dealt with clients directly and also worked closely with the accounts team in order to ensure that the clients brief is met accurately and to a high standard. I am highly ambitious and want to strive to be the best in my profession and above all I believe that I am a talented designer. I have extensive working knowledge of CS5.5. I have developed my abilities further in html, css and cms, for example using wordpress & silverstripe. I also have a desire to continuously develop my skills. I enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures, sport of any type, art, music, socializing and spending quality time with my young family.
Since April 2011 I have been freelancing. The work has been varied from art directing to interactive design to UX and intergrated social media. I have gained a wider knowledge of the industry and taken my experiences from oomph to a greater level and understanding about the digital world, and I have kept working with large bluechip clients in new sectors. I rise to every challenge that Im presented with.
I worked as an interactive graphic designer for oomph agency. My role consisted of interpreting clients and account managers briefs to a high standard, thinking outside the box and pushing the boundaries to deliver something unexpected. Not only did I design but also art direct, help the team and get involved with photo shoots. I designed logos/corporate ids, websites and other advertising materials.
I worked for Room 58. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I was made redundant. I worked as a senior interactive designer, creating websites, brochures, emailers and general marketing material. I liased with clients, printers, and helped the team when it was required, with design, art direction and difficulties with the programs.
I worked as a freelance designer for various marketing and design agencies. My portfolio contains a wide variety of clients from both web and print. My design capabilities are vast, I have experience in most areas of design from logos and brand guideline through to exhibition stands and website templates.
I worked as an exhibition designer for Exhibit-UK working to and creating templates, creating large format designs and managing 3 large format hp printers. I also created the companies website.
Aylesworth Fleming from January 2005 until August 2005; whilst in this position my main responsibilities were to create property brochures for Taylor Woodrow and redraw their floor plans and site plans.
I worked for Fitness First in the marketing and design team. I began the role as artworker but was promoted to senior designer within eighteen months. I was awarded team player of the month and created the gym’ll fix it campaign, which generated over 40,000 memberships in one month! My role was to Interpret creative briefs, supplying creative solutions to key marketing projects. I Managed and designed marketing campaigns, liasing with the studio manager and marketing brand manager.
