During my time at PAREXEL I achieved continuous extension of fixed term contracts and promotion to a permanent position. I worked with project leads on the successful delivery of a range of events, from staff training to large-scale international product launches. This involved dealing directly with key clients, as well as venues & suppliers and I was often tasked with managing eminent industry speakers & medical Key Opinion Leaders. I became proficient in the use of Cvent, the event management platform, to build event registration websites & manage delegates. I arranged some of the activities of high-profile clients at major pharmaceutical congresses. At the American Society of Hematology Exposition in Orlando, I personally managed over 40 ancillary meetings & events during the course of the conference. I learned to manage complex projects, following the arc from client brief to onsite delivery.

I achieved first class honours in my undergraduate degree. The multidisciplinary nature of the course meant that I was exposed to a wide range of subjects such as history and politics as well as film and media. In my final year I focused on my creative writing and produced a dissertation that dealt with the political significance of certain English and American poets and authors.
