'I consider myself a visionary rather than a designer’. Art and music go hand in hand for me.
My sources of inspiration include hip-hop culture, architecture, and neuroscience. The greatest creators comprehend the viewpoint of an idea is sparked by an emotion, movement, or a feeling. I find the human mind to be incredibly remarkable in terms of what it is capable of. I'd worked in every aspect of fashion, but there was still something missing for me.
My Clothing brand ''RIYAK IMAN'' was founded because I desired to be in an environment where there are no constraints or rules to follow when it comes to creating. This enabled me to advance and teach myself skills such as video editing, photography, web design, social media content creation, negotiating with international suppliers, and leading a small team of creatives by effectively communicating my ideas and vision.
I'm a self-starter with a positive attitude, who is enthusiastic about everything she does.
I'm very self-aware and critical of myself, which can lead to a desire to perfect things from time to time. A minimalist whose work is simple, clean and focused. My travels to Seville and East Africa have influenced my use of colour and minimalist style.
I also currently manage two incredible musicians.
