My name is Rob Ball and I'm a Director/Filmmaker/Editor based in Manchester and London, I've worked with brands such as Amazon Music, Selfridges, LadBible, ManCity Foundation and Samsung.
I'm passionate about making films that have social and cultural impact.
I have worked on a wide variety of content from branded content, music videos, documentaries, social campaigns and more. The areas I am most passionate about are music, fashion and sports.

The aim was to produce a short compelling visual that introduced the concept of the album and helped to generate hype for its upcoming release.
- J Chambers - My AntennaI directed this short film for J Chambers for his Poetry piece "My Antenna" which touches on his experience dealing with how his hair is a part of his identity and heritage growing up as a Black British Caribbean man. This film was screened as part of the first Caribbean International Film Festival in the Midlands in 2022.

Over the past five years I have been developing my company RBFILMSUK by working on a wide variety of different video productions often in the role of a Director or Videographer.

I work closely with PR & Marketing agencies on highly engaging content for wider marketing campaigns, for global companies such as the Co-op & Samsung, as well as small start ups and individuals. I also do a lot of work on slightly longer form content such a vlogs, documentary series as well as video production for Podcasts.
I have developed and become highly organised with strong administrative skills from managing multiple projects, of different length and complexity, simultaneously. I have great interpersonal communication skills from growing up around and working with diverse groups of people.

During my time at Viddyoze, I handled the bulk of the video content. Whether it be Viddyoze brand campaigns in-house, or for our external clients, I produce high quality visual content to help them showcase their services. I travelled internationally to work on Viddyoze own content and put together other video campaigns.
Through this video promotion, they develop their marketing campaigns and strategies using our high quality video content. This is something that becomes integrated into their brand identity and we work to ensure this is coherent, engaging and professional on all levels of deliverance.
In the growth of the company, I was responsible for the reviewing of additional footage we source from contractors and freelancers when working on larger scale projects or remote access filming.
I also helped to concept video campaigns and do all necessary pre-production as well as sourcing freelancers, locations/studios & kit hire for shoot dates.
