  • Xbox.com (EMEA): • Line management: Oversaw a core team of 4 publishers and up to 4 additional freelancers • Project Management: Planned and implemented numerous site evolutions for Xbox.com • Campaign management: Alongside regular updates, I managed the production of regular campaigns (production budgets ranging from 50K to 90K) for 1st party and AAA titles, game conventions and site rebranding. Most notably, the Kinect presence on EMEA Xbox.com sites and E3 games conventions • Innovation: During my time on Xbox, I managed the evolution of EMEA Xbox.com landing pages from standard HTML through to full XML-driven flash (and later Silverlight) • Research: Studied web trends and methods to gain consumer insight • Concept: Using my independent research I often proposed concepts for innovations and marketing campaigns to the Xbox account directors • Scoping: Regularly tasked with scoping out projects from a production aspect. Allocation of publishing team and estimation of timings and costs. Authored ‘Project Overview Documents’ to ensure clarity on deliverables, dependencies and out of scope elements of any given project • Content Editing: Preparing images and copy prior to publication on Xbox.com • Quality Assurance: Regularly tasked with proofreading copy and providing a critical eye regarding website aesthetic and usability • Copywriting: Proposed and wrote copy for Xbox.com ’Production Handbook’, a large document detailing our processes using AKQA tone of voice. This document is still being used as a guide for publishers and has been given to the client for reference purposes • Inside Xbox: Owned and managed an innovative cross-format newsletter for the Xbox 360 console. From initial start up to streamlining processes I provided quick response time and solutions. I also provided contextual and editorial aid; replacing unsuitable content with my own at the client’s discretion Nike • Moderated Nike Women’s ‘Danceclash’ and Nike+ ‘Supersonic’ social networking profile: Approving comments and friend requests. Ensuring no coarse material appeared on the profile and Nike was not affiliated with corporate or offensive material • Child Protection Proposal: Due to the age of our target audience, I compiled a proposal for working practices during moderation alongside safety practices for investigating and reporting possible sex offenders attempting to misuse our site • Copywriting: For ‘Danceclash’ and ‘Supersonic’ I wrote short copy on demand for user queries.
