Overseeing the management and growth of the branded worldwide television production and content distribution interests of the Guinness World Records (GWR) brand, through all media. Brand’s Exec Producer on all global TV productions. Overall departmental P&L responsibility. • Day to day management of departmental P+L and strategic growth plans. • Increased volume and reach of global branded format productions through development and implementation of strategic growth plans in line with overall company growth strategies. • Day to day management as Executive Producer of all branded productions, overseeing relationships with all key producers, licensees and broadcasters globally. • Oversee distribution of branded programming to over 85 territories worldwide, again supporting overall company geographical growth. • Developed, researched, pitched and secured new formatted television production commissions in key territories of UK, USA, Australia, India, Japan, China, Italy, Germany, Spain, France and others. This has been done both direct to broadcasters and with local production partners. • Forecast, planned and consistently delivered in excess of budgeted revenue targets through content distribution and branded format licensing to traditional platforms, VOD, online, mobile and other forms of new media as they evolve. • Lead all commercial and contractual negotiations associated with GWR’s TV content production and distribution business, liaising with relevant departments internally and partners externally. • Responsible for all departmental staff and resourcing. • Lead relationship contact for all TV partners worldwide and responsible for the effective and professional management of such relationships, giving consideration to relevant cultural practices and nuances as well as individual broadcast requirements. • Overseen creation and implementation of a digital video asset management system and strategy at GWR. • Launched branded GWR online video channels including two on YouTube with views of content now over 400m and the newest channel being part of YouTube’s ‘Original Programming’ initiative (180k subs, 13m+ views in 12 months from launch). • Manage all relevant trade show attendances, marketing, PR, and publicity for our global B2B activities.
