About me
A designer with a decade of experience, my practise spans graphic design, writing, technology and code. I work most comfortably at the intersection of physical and digital mediums, exploring how ideas can be expressed through creative and engaging interactions. I'm an avid maker and creator, my most recent personal work exploring neural networks and graphic design.

  • Desperados – Painting the Unpaintable City
Desperados – Painting the Unpaintable CityTo express the Desperados unique brand of Break Normal, we hacked together an interactive grafitti projection system using an old Wii and a traditional asian trishaw, and let some of Singapore’s best street artists paint the unpaintable city.
  • Unilever—Reform
Unilever—ReformAsked by Unilever to provoke their agencies to see their brands in a new light, we collaborated with eight international artists to reimagine Unilever products as playful and thought-provoking new objects. More info here

On Wednesday 28 March 2017, I gave a talk to the Singapore Creative Code meetup about my experiments with neural nets, graphic design and death metal. Total hero Andreas Schlegel was also talking, and you can find his slides here. There is a write-up of my talk here. You can see more experiments on my instagram.
  • AIGA Eye on Design—Why design is not problem solving + design thinking isn’t always the answer
AIGA Eye on Design—Why design is not problem solving + design thinking isn’t always the answer“It’s certainly not as simple as problem solving. Yes, that’s one thing designers do, but so do butchers and bakers and candlestick makers.” An article for AIGA Eye on Design exploring how designers can begin to think differently about the work that we do. • Channel 4—Internal communications
Channel 4—Internal communicationsI've been lucky enough to work on Channel 4 projects at a couple of agencies. At INT Works we helped the online department communicate the value of their work to internal stakeholders. As art director on these projects, I worked with a number of different illustrators to bring programme and department specific stories to life.
