Knowing my work has worked is the very reason I got into the creative communications industry, so I've made it my duty to be an expert in as many aspects of it as possible.
In my time as a creative I've worked for the biggest and best creative ad agencies, the most hardcore data-driven customer engagement agencies, right up to large technical digital agencies and consultancies.
As a creative leader, I have helped shape and change the fortunes of some of the world’s biggest and best-known brands and worked as one with CEOs and CMOs, while understanding the commercial realities of CFOs.
My creative and strategic approach has afforded me the opportunity to do some life-changing things and undertake some incredible tasks few creatives get the chance to do. I helped restart an agency from scratch and turn it into a multi-million pound business in two and a half years.
I have refocused, rebuilt and redefined creative departments to make them yield beautifully effective creative work, whilst dramatically increasing profit for the business.
I have merged two of the UK’s biggest digital agencies to form an agency of over 300 people across five offices, and was integral in the creation of its brand, purpose, values and culture. And in the first year of tenure, won 50% of all the creative awards the agency was nominated for - 24 nominations, 12 wins.
On top of all that, I’m generous with my time and frequently judge creative awards, write thought leadership articles and talk about creativity at events and colleges.

I was the ECD of one of the UK’s biggest digital agencies, Kin + Carta Connect (formerly known as AmazeRealise). I ran a creative department of nearly 40 talented digital experts, across 5 offices - London/Manchester/Liverpool/Edinburgh/Chicago. I was responsible for all the work and creative vision for the agency and for each of the client brands. I also connected with all the creative departments globally, to drive brilliant work across the group.
35 awards entered. 22 nominations. 13 wins. Not bad for the first year of a newly merged agency.
