About me
I make complicated things easier to understand. I do that by... • Writing words (long, short, serious, fun, minimal, incredibly involved, scripted, technical...) • Working with film, photography, design, illustration, audio and much in between • Coming up with ideas for how to use tech in interesting ways (from bots and VR to surprising vending machines) • Generating ideas for events, products & even new business models if it will do the job I've felt the buzz of Hollywood, Helsinki and the Houses of Parliament and worked on projects for Microsoft, Red Bull, PlayStation, Benefit Cosmetics, Lego, Cancer Research UK & the BBC among many others, plus start-ups, social enterprises and charities. I've used my pencil/nous to help win a national election, written comedy for BBC radio and the London stage, smoothed communications for a multi-billion dollar merger, built my own businesses and won a haul of awards for both creativity and effectiveness.

The project also included the creation of 25 weird and wonderful eggs from public submissions. These were 3D printed and displayed in a gallery in London (alongside 3D printing demos).

Real: The Physical NetworkThe world’s first (probably) physical ‘social network’ created in partnership with the Royal Mail. The idea? To reclaim the word ‘post’ for the offline world and show the value of sending things through to letter boxes rather than inboxes.

Whether you want to: be more politically active, launch a new project in your community, write a book, volunteer, begin a difficult conversation, make more people smile... it's up to you. You just ha
