About me
I’m a creative copywriter, editor, designer and illustrator based in Bristol, UK. My background is in publishing and I’m passionate about great storytelling. I’ve had the pleasure of working with a number of national and international brands. For me, great copy and design go hand in hand and I love nothing more than leading a creative project. I earned my copywriting and editing stripes while working with a leading publisher of regional food and drink magazines, where I also stepped up to design and art direct. This led me to rediscover my passion for design and illustration. Meanwhile I’ve also served as an art editor at Boshemia Magazine, helping bring stories about art, feminism and culture to life both in print and online. Most recently I took on a very rewarding role as Art Director & Copywriter at HubDot where I managed all things creative and helped the brand flourish in the post-Covid digital age. My personal passions include mental health and queer advocacy, and I’ve had the pleasure of working with LGBT+ charities and non-profits such as Gendered Intelligence and Free2B. My pronouns are they/them @mxrobbiemasters
