Robert Dickson is a Northampton-based freelance illustrator and character designer, who has just finished studying at the University of Northampton.
Robert generally works in traditional materials as well as digital media, creating illustrations that tell stories or provoke thought. A good majority of his work revolves around characters (often inspired by animals) that observe and comment on the more baffling aspects of human behaviour and culture. He specialises in children’s book illustration and editorial work, aspiring for his work to have a positive influence on future children and humans.
