A lifestyle & Editorial Photographer.
Starting out in the North of England with an educational back ground in Fashion, Design and Promotion, I moved on to studying photography, both Dark room & Digital, specialising in documentary & photojournalism.
Moving to Shoreditch, East London in 2005, I Worked alongside designers, artists & high-end cultural brands on one off marketing events. I also worked alongside artists in creating exhibitions within commercial venues, which also included fashion and retail products to tie in with the exhibition for marketing purposes. I was also involved in working within the east London art scene curating Magazine launches, award ceremony's & gallery openings. This gave me a strong insight into the world of the current design & promotion required for today's brands at multiple levels.
All these elements go towards how I use photography when organising and executing a photo shoot. From initial conversations about branding, either personal or business to organising the logistics of the shoot.
Now based back in the North as well as photography I have been involved in project management and occasionally write freelance for Art & Fashion publications throughout the UK.
