A junior editor for a bustling production studio. Initially I started out assisting the senior editors by organsing media, sourcing music and generally setting up projects and edit suites (for client atteneded edit sessions). Before long I was involved with brainstorming ideas for potential clients and pitches and given my client project briefs and editing videos for some of the worlds largest banks and organisations including: Unilever. HSBC. Mazda. Gemalto.
This was a fast paced work environment, and the role required me to edit content to a client brief/amends list, without the guidance of directors/producers/account manager. As mentioned it was a very busy studio, so I'd frequently juggling two or three major projects, which insists on good time management skills and being able to prioritise work flows.
Finally, I would occasionally take on client/director attended edit sessions. This is certainly test of Premiere project management, and organisation of files, a steep learning curve that allowed me to push my editing speed and skills.

I graduated from Cardiff School of Art & Design with a BA (hons) in Fine Art. I gained experience within arts, theatre, and developed skills in traditional art practice and art history, before getting into cameras, film, and all things post-production. My time at university was split between organising live music and art's events and volunteering for a busy gallery and studio in Cardff where I assisted the curator in events organising, fund raising, promoting exhibitions and distributing promotional material across the city. A role that eventually allowed me to travel around Europe exhibiting my own work at major art galleries and venues, as well as filming and editing theatre/performances events. Later on volunteered for a South Wales based charity Amerlia Trust. A couple of friends and I redeveloped a large section of a public park and woodland, raised nearly a £1,000 for the charity, and spent time working with children and adults with learning difficulties.
