Hello, I am Róisín Straver, recent BA(Hons) graduate from Central Saint Martins Performance Design and Practice, specialising in Costume Design.
My designs focus on the narrative of the character; I pride myself on combing intricate levels of detail, with colour semiotics and layers of costume to create the best possible characterisation. I am fascinated by the historical and cultural research involved because I believe as a designer I must look back in order to progress forward. I am eager to develop my skills within all aspects of Costume Design and I work well both as a leader and a part of a team. My work can be found on my blog.
