About me
I am a jewellery and accessories designer based in London, using a wide range of materials whilst mainly exploring sustainable materials and alternatives. My skill-set incorporates a conscious approach to traditional bench work and leather crafting proficiencies, by introducing transformative processes which bring new life to otherwise “unwanted” or “useless” waste products. My work and my practice are very meticulous, looking into the small details of each element I use. Always being very curious about discovering new things and being surprised, I like to be challenged and to throw myself into unfamiliar territories, where often creativity comes to light.
Projects
- Revealing (2021)An onion is constructed from a range of layers to make a whole. The skin acting as a shield - which prevents the onion’s ‘flesh’ from being oxidized. The outer layer protects and hides the inner one from being exposed and becoming rotten. Inspired by the onion’s natural architecture, this project tells a story about layers of hidden truths. The discarded onion skins dissipate into a translucent material that is both biodegradable, durable, and lightweight. Seen at first as a benign and forgo
