I'm a hybrid creative who can bring to life fresh ideas in different formats. When I started my career, I was an integrated Art Director very hands on when it comes to designing layouts (great skills in Photoshop/ Illustrator / InDesign). But since I've broaden my career, I’ve worked on many projects as an Associate Creative Director and sometimes as a copywriter - doing more conceptual work and managing creative teams.Locked Pro Plan feature
ACD & Conceptual Creative Freelancer. I've been recently working for creative agencies such as Y&R (France), McCann (London), TMS (London), CHI (Germany), among others. The work is always different, varying from launching a new Toyota Car to writing a Colgate TV script. From designing a McDonald’s Happy Meal Campaign to creating activations for Cisco technology that would generate lots of PR. In a bulls eye my task is usually to come up with a conceptual creative idea; build a presentation; present it to client; and support the production. Most of the work can’t be disclosed online, but I can talk it through in person.
As an Associate Creative Director I assisted CDs supervising creative & design teams on multiple campaigns for the Debenhams account. During this period, I was working solo and pushing the Debenhams brand to be a lot sexier and storytelling. For the first time Debenhams made real impact in the Industry. I also got very closely involved with client presentations, production, filming & editing.
I was a senior creative & art director responsible for coming up with campaigns that involved traditional, digital and integrated media - providing strategic direction and creative thinking. During the years, I’ve worked with different creative partners but always in a traditional copywriter/ art director team. The work was truly integrated, mostly made of TV, press ads, activations and social. Very often I was sent to work abroad - across the global JWT network for specific projects and pitches - giving me great global experiences in places including NY, Paris, Sydney, Singapore, Cape Town, etc.
I started at BBH as a freelancer, but after my first project (a pitch for the ‘Lost’ TV series) I got hired as a permanent. There, I’ve worked in a few campaigns for Levis, Baileys, Audi, Barclays, KFC, Johnny Walker, Lynx... but after 5 months working there, the ECD (Russell Ramsey) left BBH and invited me to join him at JWT.
This was a wicked experience I had while working at BBH. Miami Ad School was looking for a Lecturer in London and I got invited. My class was about encouraging students from the last semester to understand the power of lateral thinking and how to apply it to advertising. I had 20 students per class and I’d give them a real brief to crack. During the week I’d help them to create something special for their books.
