About me
I am a highly-motivated and enthusiastic recent graduate with a lifelong passion for film and television production. I have broad experience in journalism, with a focus on film criticism, having worked for several online and print publications. During my time at college, I directed various theatrical productions, including adaptations of Laura Wade's 'Posh', Yazmina Reza's 'Art', and Sophocles' 'Oedipus Rex'. I worked hard to gain a First Class Degree in Film & English from the University of Exeter, which allowed me to harness my skills in written communication, screenwriting, and independent film production. This culminated in me writing and directing my first short, 'The Unforeseen Achievement of the Illegal Tenants'. In my final year at university, I wrote, directed, produced, shot, and edited my own short film, 'Exit Interview'. I have ambitions to become immersed in creative and production roles for film and television.

I volunteered throughout the duration of the BFI London Film Festival 2018. I spent the majority of my time working in the Embankment Garden Cinema, including the Opening and Closing Night Galas, helping the team welcome keynote speakers, organise screening rooms and manage audiences. Afterwards, I was transferred to the BFI Southbank where I helped run networking events.
