Lead the Content team at this digital media agency, also acted as de facto Planning Director and representative of end customer in the media planning process.
• Ensured all content produced by the agency met highest creative standards possible within clients’ budgets and brand guidelines.
• Consistently pushed innovation: developed interactive digital campaigns for relatively staid clients (e.g. https://www.avis.co.uk/inspires/guides/barcelona-guide/); introduced the use of big data to inform content and SEO strategies; developed strategic frameworks for the entire agency.
• Significant multi-channel exposure. Worked collaboratively with Heads of Display, SEO, PPC and Data to deliver integrated multi-channel campaigns, including programmatic and paid social.
• Strong line management and mentorship skills, creating personalised plans for each team member and seeking out both individual and team development opportunities.
Project highlights included:
• Defining a new communications strategy for Good Energy: carried out category audit and consumer research, defining new brand proposition, oversaw creative development and testing.
• Development of measurement framework for new Addison Lee digital platform and deploying Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager.
• Setting the strategy and managing delivery of Avis Budget Group’s Avis Inspires content marketing campaign across EMEA region.
• Delivering a content strategy for American Express’s credit card division using multiple data sets for consumer insight.
