I gained my first degree in Audiovisual Art from the Pontifica Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia. In 2017 I graduated with an Msc in Film Production from the University of Greenwich.
While studying in the UK, I had the opportunity to work as camera operator for the Magazine Desiblitz.com and work on the publicity for The Indian Film Festival (2015) and Arts for Indian Awards (2015). I filmed interviews with personalities such as Manisha Koirala, the Bollywood actress and social activist. The following years I worked for the University of Greenwich, and most recently with Speedwagon Productions creating institutional and corporate videos (http://www.speedwagon.me/)
During the first stages of my career as an Audiovisual Artist, I worked simultaneously as an embalmer in Colombia, the violence and sensitive scenarios that I witnessed, progressively have brought my attention towards documentary film, and the anthropological study of urban subcultures in the context of music. A full-length documentary about the influence of drugs on music culture in the 80's and 90's in Medellin, Colombia, is right now under post-production, and it is an independent project in which I am currently working on my spare time.
