MA Curating Contemporary Design GraduateLondon, United Kingdom
About me
I am a fresh bi-lingual graduate from Kingston School of Art, where I attended the MA Curating Contemporary Design achieving an overall Distinction, with a thesis on Curatorial Activism and Disability Studies. Previously, I studied product and communication design at ISIA Roma Design, undertaking an Erasmus+ semester at the University of Plymouth. In beginning my career, I am open to both curatorial and design roles, where I will demonstrate my adaptability, determination, enthusiasm, and ability to think creatively in facing new challenges. I am an eager, quick, and inquisitive learner, and having the chance to expand and test my existing skill set in a professional environment represents an exciting prospect to me. My main aspiration would be to explore the potential of learning programmes, and socially engaged design and curatorial practices, as driving forces for change. Moreover, I would be interested in demonstrating and increasing my writing skills within an editorial or publishing setting. Overall, I also am passionate about dance - which I practiced for 10 years, travelling - as a way to discover and explore different cultures, fashion - as a means for personal expression, and food – in fact, I enjoy cooking, trying out new recipes, and eating.
