Young Vic Theatre

Feb 2015
  • • Liaising with visiting artists for young vic production and scheduling meetings and general welfare. • Working with all Young vic departments to ensure efficiency for all productions and offices. • Drafting and issuing contracts for actors and creative teams. • Assisting with budget tracking and management. • Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date contracts log and contact sheets for each production, and ensuring that signed contracts are returned. • Overseeing and administrating press nights, coordinating and liaising about ticket allocations, first night cards. • Arrange meetings and book rooms as required. • Use Tessitura database to manage contact information and management ticket holds as required. • Attend weekly Operations Meeting and ensure good communication of matters arising across the organisation. • Assisting the Young Vic Associate Companies. • Supporting the Young Vic Short Films as and when required. • Book meetings and send reminders for staff panels. • Take and distribute accurate minutes for staff panels.



Not Too Tame Theatre Company

  • • Responsible for all fundraising for the company and individual projects including recent ACE Strategic Touring Grant. • Responsible for booking and managing 2015 tour of ‘Early Doors’ inc Derby Theatre, Harrogate Theatre, Darllington festival, The Lowry, Harlow Playhouse, Junction Festival and Cast. • Hiring all company members for 2015 tour. • Negotiating and writing all contracts for 2015 tour. • Creating and executing marketing plan for 2015 tour • Creating audience development plan for 2015 tour • Creating, managing and reconciling all budgets for the company. • Overseeing all marketing activity including writing copy, composing newsletters and overseeing all social media sites. • Working closely with artistic director to plan future life for the company. • Leading on meeting with venues and producers to book future tour dates.

Assistant Producer

Cheek by Jowl

  • • Work directly with Beth Byrne Executive Director to ensure the effective management and smooth running of Cheek by Jowl and all it’s UK and International tours. • Work with the Executive Director to set production, project and overhead budgets. • Working closely with UK and International co-producers. • Responsible for reconciling production budgets. • Produce and manage all final settlements in accordance with agreed contracts with UK and International venues. • Manage the company’s payroll system, overseeing the Bookkeeper’s processing, ensuring that all employees and freelance staff receive their salaries, overtime and expenses correctly and in good time. • Supervise office petty cash and manage tour petty cash receipts. • Manage Cheek by Jowl’s relationship with CAF Bank and, in liaison with the Bookkeeper, operate CAF Bank’s online system. • Manage contract negotiations and issue all contracts with venues, co-producers, rehearsal and meeting rooms, freelance partners, artists, stage management and technicians. • Set up and manage logistics for UK and International tours including freight, accommodation, visas, travel and per diems where relevant in conjunction with a Company Manager. • Work with the Executive and Assistant Director to plan and schedule artist development and participation work. • Manage tour schedules and work closely with Company Manager and Technical team to ensure efficient tour management, both from the office and on tour with the company. • Organise and manage the sustainable set disposal at the end of the tour. • Organise, chair and note de-brief meetings with Technical/Production team for UK productions. • Responsible for obtaining PRS licenses for productions. • Responsible for securing visas for company members when on tour. • Responsible for arranging insurance for UK productions and administrating claims. • Develop and maintain marketing campaigns including direct mail, copy, print, production images, Marketing packs, web and e-marketing; supplying packs, image and copy to venues when requested, inc working with venues to monitor ticket sales. • Assist with the set-up and launch of CBJ’s Individual Giving scheme. • Manage all communication with Cheek by Jowl’s Friends and Patrons including maintaining the database (Blackbaud e-tapestry). • Organise and manage cultivation events for Cheek by Jowl to gain new patrons and fundraise (Four events in the last year
