About me
Hi I'm Rose and I am a trained journalist and film maker and photographer. I am committed to telling human stories in a creative and imaginative way. I have worked primary on online short films, across subjects ranging from the mental health of refugees and rehabilitation of ex-offenders to YouTube artists, hospital clowns and climate change. I have strong research and writing skills, which I gained through doing a PhD in psychology, and am able to find stories, develop ideas and secure funding for films. I have experience gaining access for, planning shoots, and making documentaries in the UK and internationally, including Germany, Argentina, the US and South Africa. I shoot on C300, Sony a7s ii and and 5D and I have my own 5D mark IV kit. I have strong scripting and editing skills and can edit using Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, and After Effects for graphics. I have an enhanced DBS and have worked at a children's mental health charity so I am used to working with vulnerable
