Hello, my name is Rose and I make artwork and illustrations about all the things I love and am passionate about. I have been working as an illustrator for the past five years with some wonderful clients that share my interests and values such as HarperCollins, BBC History, Oxford University Press, Macmillan Publishers, The Big Issue and Gibbs Smith Education.
Originally having developed my style and skills with traditional mediums - watercolor, gouache and pencil - I now use the magic of the iPad to create these illusionary effects. Whilst still embodying the soul and spontaneity of classical materials, I am able to offer the same style of work in a way that can be easily and quickly be changed and adapted for altering client needs.
I grew up in rural Herefordshire where my love for nature, science fiction and history blossomed. Since then I have attained a first class degree in Illustration from Cardiff School of Art and Design and graduated from Camberwell College of Arts with a Master’s degree also in Illustration. I am currently working with Richmond Upon Thames College on a variety of Art and Design FE and HE courses so that I can share my passion for illustration.
If you would like to discuss a commission opportunity (or just say hello!) please email me at rose@rosewilkinsonillustration.com.
You can also find me at Beehive Illustration Agency where I am represented by Christina.
