As Customer Retention Assistant, at organic food e-tailer, Abel & Cole, I used my natural and confident communication skills to support the projects and campaigns of my close Marketing team, and across the wider Abel & Cole business. My background in customer service allowed me to liaise with all levels of stakeholders from different departments easily and effectively. Monitoring and analysing customer feedback was a key aspect of my role. I used these learnings of our customer base to inform others across the business. Leading small projects, and applying both analysis and creativity in all communications made me a valuable member of the Marketing team. With Social Media and Creative Writing experience, I have worked across many different projects including brand, acquisition and retention campaigns. • Being aware of the importance of contentious issues and when raised, responding them quickly, calmly and efficiently • Participating in brand awareness campaigns such as ‘The Bigger Buzz’ bee awareness campaign, as well as promoting the brand at Wychwood Festival • Responding to and proofing emails, letters and social media content from customers in the helpful, encouraging tone of the Abel & Cole brand • Displaying knowledge of all products in order to educate customers about the importance of organic and ethical produce • Handling systems of data to control credit and customer records
• Attending cultural, food and arts events such as the press opening of the Dr Susan Weber Gallery at the V&A, and the launch of Sharpham Park British spelt brand • Working under the strict guidelines of the online publication and to tight deadlines
