I am a recent graduate that enjoys a challenge and is eager to learn. I am an enthusiastic and passionate individual with a drive for success.     As a part of the team in a high energy environment, it is my responsibility to ensure that I help look after guests at the restaurant to the best of my ability. I try to go above and beyond to make people smile and offer excellent customer service. In my recent promotion to Team Leader I have been given extra responsibilities that include counting the safe and tills at the end of the night, and performing an end of shift kitchen check to ensure the maintenance of good hygiene and food handling practices. In this role, I have learned to work under pressure, and to remain professional in stressful situations. I also practice my timekeeping and communication skills during every shift. I have received extensive GDPR training during my time at this role. My main responsibilities include: • Waiting tables and serving customers over a bar. • Handling customer complaints in a professional manner. • Making hot and cold drinks, and desserts to the brand specification in a hygienic manner. • Handling money and counting the safe and tills at the end of the night.

    At this event, I worked behind the reception desk to offer support for the guests of the conference and awards ceremony. I worked alongside the ticketing platform, ‘Skiddle’, to scan tickets and provide wristbands, as well as providing information and assistance to guests. As well as the ticketing platform, I also liaised with other attending businesses to help ensure the event ran smoothly. I was also given a chance to network with the industry professionals who were attending the event.
