About me
Hello - thank you so much for visiting my page! I was born and grew up in London's East End, which remains my base.   My career began with an Art & Design Foundation course at Kingston University. Three years later, I graduated from Norwich University of the Arts with a first-class degree in Illustration. I'm a pattern seeker and colour lover. I most enjoy helping people discover the magnificent in the mundane, and the delightful details of the everyday. My practice is playful and I communicate in multiple different ways. I'm an illustrator who uses photography, print-making, film and video, directing creative workshops, model-making and object collecting to support my clients and their various projects.  My portfolio includes design work across the public, private and charity sectors.

  • We Are Here
We Are HereBA Illustration Degree Show at Norwich University of the Arts, 2017 As a multidisciplinary course, we value the diversity of illustration and its potential to engage a public with a variety of subject matter. We are a collective of forward-thinking individuals who wish to celebrate the potential of visual communication. We are telling untold stories. We are communicating the complex. We are engaging with the unconventional. We are now. We are more. We are here. Working as part of the Graphic Des
  • The Life of a 24 Hour Launderette
The Life of a 24 Hour LaunderetteAn experimental film exploring the character within a 24 hour launderette. In this film, I focussed on how narrative can be created through object and space. I studied the repetitions and patterns within this overlooked everyday environment.  I was interested in looking at the washers and driers as organisms with a consciousness - What do they see? What do they feel? What do they hear?
  • D.I.Y Workshop
D.I.Y WorkshopDesign Invent Yield - a 2 day workshop held by myself and 5 other illustrators. Working with an audience of all ages, encouraging them to be playful with materials in response to a variety of different prompts.
  • The Power of Three
The Power of ThreeA collaboration with Photographer Alex Foxley exploring the Power of Three. Creating curiosity from the common and playing with the relationships between objects.
  • Zig Zag
Zig ZagEveryday we overlook the patterns around us - from the patterns in our food to the patterns in architecture. This photographic series celebrates the patterns that lie within shadows.
  • My Library
My LibraryAn exploration of the potential patterns and rhythms within forms expressed through collecting existing unusual forms, as well as creating my own. I investigated materials such as cotton buds, pasta, rubber bands, plaster and clay. This archive of objects reminds me of colourful sea coral - what do they remind you of?

Helping create the vision and develop a visual language for Brompton Cross, a residential estate in west London.      - London, United KingdomInternship
I worked with PATTERNITY as part of the production team at events and workshops, such as plant life drawing sessions and print workshops. I helped with online pattern research and cataloguing for their website and archive. On top of this, I worked with them on a large-scale architectural installation, painting a design onto giant metal panels that were displayed at Greenwich Peninsula. Required the ability to follow detailed design plans and to work as part of a team to tight deadlines. - ‘Rosie assisted the PATTERNITY Studio team on events and special design projects, helping to ensure smooth running and quality control when working to a tight deadline. Her personable manner was an asset when dealing with our community, and her interest in design and the arts allowed her to have insight into the goals of the projects and PATTERNITY’s mission.’ – Liv Taylor, Head of Research
