Hello - thank you so much for visiting my page! I was born and grew up in London's East End, which remains my base. My career began with an Art & Design Foundation course at Kingston University. Three years later, I graduated from Norwich University of the Arts with a first-class degree in Illustration. I'm a pattern seeker and colour lover. I most enjoy helping people discover the magnificent in the mundane, and the delightful details of the everyday. My practice is playful and I communicate in multiple different ways. I'm an illustrator who uses photography, print-making, film and video, directing creative workshops, model-making and object collecting to support my clients and their various projects. My portfolio includes design work across the public, private and charity sectors.Locked Pro Plan feature
Helping create the vision and develop a visual language for Brompton Cross, a residential estate in west London. I learnt to pitch my ideas successfully and work to a brief, communicating clearly, meeting deadlines. - ‘Rosie made a fantastic contribution and it was a pleasure to have her working with our design team.’ – Lucy Musgrave, Founding Director
I worked with PATTERNITY as part of the production team at events and workshops, such as plant life drawing sessions and print workshops. I helped with online pattern research and cataloguing for their website and archive. On top of this, I worked with them on a large-scale architectural installation, painting a design onto giant metal panels that were displayed at Greenwich Peninsula. Required the ability to follow detailed design plans and to work as part of a team to tight deadlines. - ‘Rosie assisted the PATTERNITY Studio team on events and special design projects, helping to ensure smooth running and quality control when working to a tight deadline. Her personable manner was an asset when dealing with our community, and her interest in design and the arts allowed her to have insight into the goals of the projects and PATTERNITY’s mission.’ – Liv Taylor, Head of Research
I have worked on a number of photographic shoots with Photographer Jess Bonham and Set Designer Anna Lomax, including a front cover for London's Evening Standard Magazine, and a stop-motion animation film for the Grammy Awards. I became familiar with the mechanics of a professional shoot and sensitive to the important balance of relationship between photographer, set designer, director and client. I had to respond quickly to shoot requirements and provide support at difficult moments. - ‘It was a delight to have Rosie working on set with me and my team. She has a genuinely curious mind, she learns fast and is not afraid to use her initiative. These, combined with her thoughtful and friendly attitude, make her a great addition to any crew.’ – Jess Bonham, Photographer
I was commissioned by the Royal Parks Foundation's Head of Communications to create illustrations for a range of clothing linked to a hedgehog conservation programme, as featured on BBC Television's 'Springwatch' programme in May 2015. - ‘We commissioned Rosie to develop a clothing design for our hedgehog research programme. Rosie’s response to the brief was excellent. She was always very professional and open to making adjustments according to our feedback and, most importantly, she delivered on time. Rosie was a pleasure to work with and we were impressed with the high quality of the nal product - as were those who went on to buy the T-shirts and hoodies!’ – Clare Bowen, Head of Communications
