About me
I am a textile designer and artist with a narrative-driven practise. Fascinated by imagined alternate worlds and movement of the human form, I create wearable pieces that cross the boundaries between art and fashion.
Being commissioned for fast-paced live industry briefs means that I work very efficiently, with excellent organisational and time-management skills. I am able to align my visual research with the values and aesthetics of a brand while bringing my own fresh originality. I enjoy being playful in my textile explorations, often combining unconventional materials and techniques to bring something exciting and effective to the table.
Having had my own textile pieces displayed in public exhibitions means that I am a designer with a competitive edge, which is a vital skill to have in a blossoming textile design company like yours. I am an energetic and enthusiastic team member, emphasised by my ability to engage the public in creative workshops and exhibitions.
Further skills that are key to my creative process include drawing, digital and physical moodboarding, Photoshop visualisations, product styling and organising photoshoots, all of which I enjoy just as much as the designing and making stages!
