I am currently working as a production assistant in a TV advertising company. The role involves organising and booking crew for shoots and being on set to make sure the productions ran smoothly. I sit in on client meetings and put together storyboards and proposals for pitches. I am also gaining some knowledge of post-production, familiarising myself with the more technical side of the business. I love the process of building client relationships and working on set.

Working in a restaurant during its first few months open, I learnt a lot about how to work effectively under pressure, as well as the basic skills involved in hospitality. Running the restaurant’s social media and organising one-off events to raise awareness about it was my favourite part of the job, feeling involved in the branding of it as a break from the longer waitressing shifts over weekends.
