- Seeking HMU artist for a BAFTA-produced shoot in The Netherlands ASAP!Hello there, I'm looking for a Hair/Make-Up Artist for a BAFTA-produced film on grief and fragmented memory, due to be shot in The Netherlands this summer (July 4th-12th). My role as Marketing Manager at Haus Publishing was multifarious and covered a wide array of responsibilities. I would personally produce press releases and compile relevant materials for our monthly newsletter; I would deal with mass mailings, arranging deliveries with Royal Mail, FedEx International, MyHermes and MDL.
I pitched titles to reviewers, main papers and radio programs, negotiating and curating details and logistics. I would research and contact venues and festivals to offer new platforms for our authors, dealing with all the aspects involved, from the design and promotion of social media campaigns to directly selling books at the events, if required.
I enthusiastically managed the company website, updating pages and backlist, ensuring an efficient user experience, as well as our social media platforms. I would execute and schedule social media campaigns, dedicating special attention to aesthetics and design. I personally took and edited pictures and videos, as I firmly believe this is the most appealing and effective way to engage with followers and readership, so as to encourage and cement the brand image and loyalty.
