About me
Rowha Mohid is a multi-talented artist, cultural curator, and ethnographic producer with a passion for community building and storytelling. With a deep-seated belief in the power of collective communities, she leverages their strength to create impactful and enduring narratives. As a global citizen, having lived in India, the US, and the UK, Rowha's art reflects her borderless worldview. Her work explores and uncovers hidden stories that need to be shared. She believes that living in a borderless world is possible, but it requires open conversations to dispel misconceptions. Rowha's art serves as a form of therapy to initiate conversations on critical issues such as climate change, social justice, and racial equity. Through her artistic expression and community engagement, Rowha strives to create a more inclusive and connected world.

While on the communication placement I was working alongside the Workplace Coordinator to help improve community communications. My main task was to develop the Ilford Yard Projects's Community Investment magazine's visual identity. During my time I went to local events hosted by the company to take photographs and later on write about the event for a community magazine which I was creating. I had also been tasked with other various jobs such as designing a flyer for a future event, taking photographs, researching local companies for fundraising opportunities for the local Salvation Army, and other communication and admin work.

At the end all the teams gave a presentation on how we could help with the ageing process. My team looked into how we could keep people active as they age. At the end of the it my team was presented with a highly commended award.
